Whitney's Point: Third Class Mail - 1873(?)

Whitney's Point/JUN/2/N.Y. CDS 24mm Black; 1 cent ultramarine (#145).  Stamp
                           pays the 2 ounce, 3rd class single piece rate
                           established June 8, 1872.           

Whitney's Point - 1881

WHITNEYS POINT/MAY/20/1881/N.Y. Black 27mm CDS; black barred killer on 3 cent green banknote.
                                Stamp pays the three cent per 1/2 ounce first class rate.            

Whitney's Point: Local Letter - 1886

WHITNEYS POINT/AUG/19/1886/N.Y. Black 27mm CDS; cork killer on 1 cent grey blue banknote.  Stamp
                                pays the one cent per ounce rate for non-carrier local letters.            

Whitney's Point: Registered Letter - 1887

WHITNEYS POINT/MAY/21/1887/N.Y. Black 27mm CDS; cork killer on 2 cent brown stamped envelope (#U279)
                                and 10 cent re-engraved brown banknote of 1882 (#209) which paid the 2
                                cent per ounce first class surface letter rate effective July 1, 1885
                                and the 10 cent registration fee for no indemnity effective May 1, 1879.            

Whitney's Point - 1892

WHITNEYS POINT/10AM/DEC/31/1892/N.Y. Black 27mm CDS; cork killer on 1 cent dull blue small banknote
                                     (#219).  Stamp pays the one cent per two ounce rate for third
                                     class, single piece mailings effective May 1, 1879.
