Whitney's Point: February 24, 1824 - December, 1894

The Whitney's Point Post Office was established in Broome County on February 24, 1824.  The first
postmaster of Whitney's Point was Thomas Whitney.  In December, 1894, the spelling was changed to
Whitneys Point.
