Broome County, New York Postal History

Vestal Center: October 9, 1893 - February 12, 1924

The Vestal Center Post Office was established in Broome County on October 9, 1893.  Prior to that it was
Vestal Centre.  The first postmaster of Vestal Center was William S. Corey.  The Vestal Center Post 
Office ceased operation on February 12, 1924 and began receiving service from Vestal.
