Chenango: January 30, 1855 - June 4, 1862

The Chenango Post Office was established in Broome County on January 30, 1855.  Prior to then it was
Kattelville.  The first postmaster of Chenango was Hawley Thomas.  On June 4, 1862, the Chenango Post
Office became Kattelville.
