Graf Zeppelin Flight Cover: U.S. To Germany

VARICK ST STA.N.Y./OCT 27/5 PM/1928  This letter was flown on the first airmail flight of the Graf
                                     Zeppelin LZ-127 from the United States to Germany on October 28, 1928.
                                     The one dollar violet black definitive of 1923 (#571) and the 
                                     five cent Beacon airmail of 1928 (#C11) paid the $1.05 Zeppelin
                                     rate from the U.S. to Germany.

Rear

The flight to Germany took four days and the letter arrived in Friedrichshaften, Germany on November 1, 1928,
and was subsequently sent on to Wesermunde where it arrived on November 2nd.
