                      additional 6 cents (less than 30 miles).  Original postage from Buffalo to Binghamton 
                      was 18 3/4.  Thus recipient owed 24 3/4, per Act of March 3, 1825.

                      Red 19x5 "PAID".  Latest reported date for both this type oval and this type PAID.
                      Postage paid was 8 times the single rate for 150 - 400 miles, per Act of March 3, 1825.
