Maine - 1882 Registered Usage

MAINE/DEC/7/1882/N.Y. Black 26mm CDS, manuscript "Reg 50", with target cancels tying 10 cent 
                      brown (#209) to 3 cent postal stationery.  Postage paid the 10 cent registry fee
                      with no indemnity that became effective July 1, 1875 and 3 cent per 1/2 ounce
                      first class rate that existed until October 1, 1883.  

Maine - 1887 Registered Usage

MAINE/DEC/20/1887/N.Y. Black 26mm CDS, with target cancels tying 10 cent brown (#209) and 2 cent 
                       green (#213) banknotes.  Postage paid the 10 cent registry fee with no indemnity
                       that became effective July 1, 1875 and 2 cent per ounce first class rate that
                       became effective July 1, 1885.

Maine - 1893 10 cent Columbian solo Registered Usage

MAINE/MAY 16 1893/N.Y. Black 30mm CDS, with target cancel tying 10 cent black brown Columbian
                       Exposition issue (#237).  Postage paid the 8 cent registry fee with no
                       indemnity that had just become effective on January 1, 1893 and the
                       2 cent per ounce first class rate that became effective July 1, 1885.
